Student transfer from abroad

You can transfer to the University of Szczecin from another university to study the same or similar programme if you have fulfilled all your student responsibilities set for you by your university’s regulations, and you have finished at least the first term of the first year of your studies.

E-mail us at admissions@usz.edu.pl and let us know what programme you are currently studying and which programmes from our English and Polish study offers you are interested in.

To prove that you are eligible for the transfer, you will need to submit:

  • a letter of application in which you explain why you want to transfer to the University of Szczecin;
  • a document from your university that states you have successfully finished at least the first term of the first year of your studies (e.g. your grades transcript);
  • a document from your university that states you have fulfilled all your student responsibilities set for you by your university’s regulations (e.g. you have returned all your books to the university library, passed all your exams) and permits you to transfer to another university.

It may happen that there’ll be differences between study programmes in your current university and the University of Szczecin. Please be aware that not all courses from your current university might be accepted by our University in the grades transfer. If that happens, you might be asked to transfer to a study term below your current one and you might need to take extra courses.
