Step by step guide
During the admission process, candidates interested in studying in the University of Szczecin need to do the following, in that order:
- Set up an account in the online admissions system once admissions start (the link will be available on the Home page during the admissions period. The detailed admission schedule will be made available in Schedule at a later date);
- Fill out personal data as well as information about your school/university and the document of education you are applying with;
- Choose the programme you’re interested in (only the programmes listed in Programmes in English are taught in English);
- Pay the application fee (85 PLN for every programme they apply for);
- Upload the full set of required documents (you can find the main documents list below);
- In case of no English language certificate (level B2 or higher):
Apply for and successfully pass our online English-language exam (available only for some candidates); - Await the information on the result of your admission (sent in your candidate’s account, with an e-mail notification) and the documents on acceptance;
- In case of visa application requirement of paid tuition fee:
Contact the Admissions Office staff for information on tuition fee transfer data and make the payment of *4200 PLN (one semester fee) or *8400 PLN (one year fee). The payment may take several days to be processed. The Admissions Office staff will send you the attestation document of tuition fee payment once it’s available.
*the tuition fees are for the academic year 2025/2026 – they may be different in 2026/2027.

Main list of documents for candidates applying for a BA programme:
- application form – available during the 2026/2027 admissions period;
- secondary school-leaving certificate with grades transcript and final/university entrance examination results + Polish translation of the documents provided by a sworn translator;
- certificate confirming the right to apply for admission to higher education institutions in the country it was issued and its scope + Polish translation of the documents provided by a sworn translator;
- photo (passport/ID requirements);
- insurance policy in case of sickness and accidents valid for the time of studying in Poland or a statement on joining the National Health Fund upon the start of the academic year (available during the 2026/2027 admissions period);
- English proficiency certificate (level B2 or higher), a document which confirms that English was the language of instruction in school/university, or another document that confirms the candidate’s proficiency in that language (level B2).

- application form – available during the 2026/2027 admissions period;
- Bachelor diploma and diploma supplement + Polish translation of the documents provided by a sworn translator;
- photo (passport/ID requirements);
- insurance policy in case of sickness and accidents valid for the time of studying in Poland or a statement on joining the National Health Fund upon the start of the academic year (available during the 2026/2027 admissions period);
- English proficiency certificate (level B2 or higher), a document which confirms that English was the language of instruction in school/university, or another document that confirms the candidate’s proficiency in that language (level B2).
